In the topic, you will see some of the basic steps on how to change through different attributes and features

Instructions to Pan Through Sheet Attributes, Features and Geo Locate in the Sheet Viewer

Step 1: Attributes

  • At the top of the screen you will see the attributes button. Click on that and the right-hand side of the sheet viewer will open with the different attributes that are available
  • Select from your secondary or primary attribute list
  • Select your category drop down
    • Once you select which attribute section you would like the change, pick the attribute you would like to replace it with
    • There is also the option to have a blank space for the attribute
  • Pan to the SLD sheet and make sure the new attribute is shown
  • Clear the pane by clicking the attribute button again
  • You can also use the “Clear All” or “Defaults” tab to start fresh or go back to the original attributes

Step 2: Features

  • At the top of the screen next to attributes you will see the features button. Click on that and the right side of the sheet viewer will open with the different features that are available

  • Once you have this pane open you can select which features you would like shown on the SLD Route map
  • For the features table, you can turn on the MP Values to show the mile markers along your route map in the SLD Page
  • You can also use the “Clear All” and “Defaults” option for the features tab
  • In the features tab there is an icon to the right of some of the attributes. When the small icon is selected the points associated with that attribute will be mapped
  • You can directly select an attribute from the SLD sheet. Once the attribute is selected a pop up will appear with an image of that attribute from the video log. The attribute that is selected will be circled in purple along with the dot that was mapped
  • You can also use the left and right arrow keys in the image viewer to scroll through to the next attribute in the list
  • You can use these icons to zoom in and out and make the image full screen
  • You can use this icon to print the video log sheet with the attribute information on it

Step 3: Geolocate

  • At the top of the screen next to features you will see the geolocate button
  • You can use latitude, longitude and distance or an address and distance to find a point on the map. This will take you to the closest route and milepost to the geolocations searched
