Once data is uploaded you can view, edit, or delete data

Viewing Data

  1.  To view the data, sign into your account and go to  "Custom Data Sources"
  2. Once you are in that table, towards the top of the screen you will see a drop down with two options.
    1. The first option is "Show Only my Data Sources". This is where you will see all data that you have uploaded
    2. The second option is "Show all users's Data Sources". This will show all data uploaded not just your own data
  3. The data can be shown in both the SLD Sheet Viewer and the SLD Data Browser
    1. NJDOT SLD Sheet Viewer - The new data will be visible in the "Attributes" section. Once you have the attribute feature panel open and you choose your attribute, the new data will be highlighted in green
    2. NJDOT SLD Data Browser- The new data in this browser will be in the left side panel where there is a list of attributes that you can select from. The data will show up with a green "Custom" sign.
    3. To understand how to use both of these browser, please visit the "How To" articles

Editing Data

  1.  Editing the data itself cannot be done once the data is uploaded into the custom data sources. If you need to edit something within the data, it needs to be deleted and reloaded with the edits previously made.
  2. The only thing that can be edited is the name and the description of the data. So, if you would like the data to show up in your browser as something else you can.
    1. In your Custom Data Sources tab just click on this icon next to your source
    2. A pop up will appear where you can make the changes you would like
    3. Click save and your edits will be made

Deleting Data

  1.  To delete data, go into your Custom Data Sources and click the trashcan icon
  2. Once data is deleted from the sources tab, it cannot be reversed. Please make sure that you want to completely clear the data before deleting. Your data will be available wherever the original file is saved on your computer but it will not be in the SLD Dashboard
