In the topic, you will see some of the basic steps on how to go through the Data Browser.
Instructions to Pan Through NJDOT SLD Data Browser
Step 1: Selecting the attribute you want to review
- On the left side of the browser you will see the list of different attributes that can be selected from
- As you select different attributes the entire browser will change to display the information that is included with that attribute
- Each attribute in the tabular list has an info button next to it that can be clicked to learn more about the data
Step 2: Selecting SRI and Milepost
- Once you have the attribute selected there will be a list of all SRI values and Mileposts
- You can use the filter to view one specific SRI or a range of different SRIs
- To do this you drop down your equations and then type in the SRI
- This is also how you filter your mileposting, route segments, and whatever other information is shown in the attribute.
- The data browser is defaulted to show 50 rows on a page, but you can change this at the bottom of the data browser
Step 3: Keys within the Data Viewer
- Next to each SRI there is a link to view the SLD sheet. This link is to the left of the SRI
- There is also a link to view the video log next to the SRI. This key looks the same as the SLD key but will be in the “VL” Column
- Next to both above is a link to view google maps
- There is also a tool to export the current sheet to excel. To do this all you have to do is hit "Export Excel" and it automatically downloads your new excel file. This excel file includes all rows not just the ones in the current sheet.
